Client: Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites (RCMC)
Location: Makkah
Services: Feasibility Study, Traffic Study, and Concept Masterplan
Status: Completed
The project aims to assess the current conditions of Kadi Station and develop a comprehensive development plan and engineering concept for its facilities and services. This includes conducting a traffic impact study and an economic feasibility assessment to better understand the site’s development potential. The outcome of the study will form a strategic foundation for attracting developers and advancing the project toward detailed design and eventual implementation through a Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) model or another suitable delivery approach.
SETS Scope of Work:
SETS was commissioned to prepare an integrated Concept Master Plan for an area of 260,000 m², ensuring the seamless integration of proposed land uses within the site’s spatial and operational constraints. The scope includes defining optimal land-use allocations, providing efficient separation between pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and ensuring the required number of parking spaces.
